With another cold, dreary Winter in full swing, I'm ready for some colorful creations to brighten up my day! I figured it would be a great time to pull out my absolute favorite Designer Series Paper (DSP) of all time - the Share What You Love Specialty DSP. There are so many different designs in all of my favorite colors, and I adore floral anything! Some of the paper even sparkles with a pearlized finish, like the card shown in the bottom left of the picture above.

This card is my favorite of the bunch. I love how the greeting fits perfectly within the stitched square, and how complimentary the colors are to each other. Although you can't tell from this picture, the flowers have a beautiful pearlized finish that shines as you move it. This card is perfect for a number of occasions - a wedding, a birthday, or any special occasion you might want someone to know you're thinking of them.

How happy-go-lucky is this simple card? I love these two pieces of DSP, and I especially love them together! With two busy prints, this card just needed one large, simple greeting to be completed.

The pearlized finish of this particular piece of DSP is absolutely stunning. I wanted to make a card that really let this paper shine (pun intended), so I used it as the background with simple finishings. I had a scrap piece of the DSP underneath the greeting, so I based the pieces underneath of it from that scrap. I always try to use my scraps in creative ways - both to prevent waste, and to promote creativity. Some of my favorite designs are based off of scraps!

This piece of DSP is my favorite of the bunch! I always struggle to use it, though, because it's so pretty that I never want to cover it up! The solution was to create a small greeting that complimented the colors in the DSP, without overpowering it.
