It's time to get ready for Christmas! From gifts, to cards, to small projects, there are so many things to create for family and friends.

And speaking of family, my mom, who is also a demonstrator, recently came to visit me and brought her Wrapped in Plaid bundle that includes a great pine tree punch. I hadn't gotten the set yet, but I have since! It's my new favorite. But while she was here, I made as many things as I could with it.

These tags were super easy to make, and they look even better in person! I love adding personal little touches to gifts, and tags are a great place to start.

To create these particular tags, you will need the following supplies:

The measurements are as follows:

Wrapped in Plaid DSP: 2" x 4 1/4"

Whisper White Cardstock: 2" x 3 3/4"

Use the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch on one end of both pieces of paper. I line the paper up so that it's just barely reaching the top of the top scallop. Then, use the Pine Tree punch in the center of the Whisper White cardstock. In the ink color of your choice (I coordinated with the DSP), use the "To" and "From" stamps from the Botanical Bliss stamp set. Finally, I inked up the first third of the "Ho Ho Ho" stamp from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in another coordinating ink color and stamped three times. Just adhere the stamped, Whisper White cardstock on top of the DSP, and you're done! Optional: make a a coordinating card using matching DSP to really bring it all together. One of mine is shown below.

Stay tuned for more Christmas related projects coming soon!

Leanne - I can't find this christmas tree punch anywhere on your site to purchase. Can you point me in the right direction. I just signed up for your blog. Thanks.
